Laxakaar is the contemporary womenswear label of Akyra Active Life — a house that blends Indian craftsmanship with modern design across three labels: Wavryn Active, Laxakaar and Jind Mahia.
Laxakaar approaches western wear with a design-first philosophy: fluid tailoring, refined minimalism and silhouettes that move seamlessly from work to evening, from travel to celebration.
Collections are produced in mindful volumes with select ateliers that prioritise refined construction and responsible sourcing. Signature techniques run through the line — hand embroidery, self-woven jacquards, raw and dupion silks, and natural fibres like linen, mul cotton and Chanderi — details usually reserved for far higher price points.
